Seeds

There are so many opportunities to incorporate plants into kids projects - as they can be used in just about any type of project. Art work can be created by using the colors and textures of plants such as flowers or fall leaves as inspiration or by incorporating plants into the artwork - for instance in leaf rubbings, apple prints, sun prints or in collages.

Kids will also have fun doing science experiments with plants. Growing plants from seed is fascinating for small children - it is magical to see a plant emerge from such a tiny seed. But this isn’t the only way that plants can be used in science experiments. You can make dyes from root vegetables, turn flowers different colors and much more
